Junior (Entry Level) IT Systems Engineer | CONTRACT ID-2466

Your role is to help keep our internal services and IT processes secure and running smoothly. This means patching servers and endpoints, tracking vulnerabilities and managing policy.

We use a variety of platforms and technologies, so this role features variety! You don’t have to know everything about a particular area, but you will be successful if you can think on your feet, adapt to new situations, and learn from the existing team.

We are a fully-remote, cross-timezone, leading technology company. You’ll mostly be working with team members in New Zealand and the US. We have a strong focus on infrastructure as code and automation to ensure team members are able to focus on interesting issues and develop new solutions.

• Maintaining and patching cloud servers and end user computers

• Assist with other technical support duties as required by the department and supported by relevant skills

Systems Maintenance:

• Setup of and maintaining automation for infrastructure and support workflows

Requirements

• The candidate would have successfully completed and graduated from a reputable training institution with a graduate diploma in Information Technology Level 7 or the equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills, and ability to multitask
• Exposure to any of the following:

  • Okta
  • Linux (Ubuntu)
  • Windows 11
  • macOS
• Basic network troubleshooting skills.
