Recreation Leader II - Dance/Gymnastics Instructor - ID-4575

The City of Brentwood is currently seeking dance and gymnastics instructors to teach parent and child, preschool, and elementary aged classes. The individual should have a passion for working with children and experience in ballet, tap, jazz ,cheerleading, tumbling, and/or gymnastics. The ideal candidate would enjoy working as part of a team to provide a positive and successful learning environment.

Qualifications Education and Experience Guidelines Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience.

 

License/Certificate: Possession of a valid California driver's license. Be able to obtain certification in American Red Cross Adult/Pediatric First Aid/CPR and AED or equivalent within 90 days of employment. Department Interview - Applicants possessing these requirements may be invited to interview with the Parks and Recreation Department. The interview will cover elements of the knowledge and abilities identified in the job description. Fingerprinting - Applicants who are offered a job will be required to pass a TB and HepB screening through their doctor and will be fingerprinted through the City.

 

Orientation - Applicants who have passed all of the pre-employment requirements and have submitted all of their documents will be scheduled for their first day of orientation.
