Job Summary

Under direct supervision, the SAP Data Entry Associate is responsible for entering purchase orders, vendor information, and invoices into SAP and ensures the process flows and is completed correctly. This role works cross-functionally to resolve issues and/or tasks that need addressing to complete the SAP they are responsible for.

Key Responsibilities

Supports organization leaders in making sure their vendors, purchase orders, and invoices are process and paid on time.

Provides accurate and timely data entry in SAP computer system (purchase orders, vendor information, invoices, etc.).

Reviews invoices and purchase orders for accuracy.

Processes purchase orders in SAP; works with Finance to ensure the purchase orders are complete and paid.

Works with Finance to ensure vendors are set up correctly in SAP.

Prioritizes and organizes work-load to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

SAP experience is a plus.

At least 1 year of experience working as a data entry clerk.

Exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to spot errors with accuracy and efficiency.

Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.

Solid time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.

Strong personal computer skills including MS Excel and WORD

Work Environment

Ability to sustain posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time.

Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk.

Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Ability to occasionally lift and/or move 20+ lbs.

Prolonged use of personal computer & telephone.

Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
