The main purpose of the role is to provide compensation and benefits support to the business on a variety of core projects but primarily related to the integration and TUPE transfer of the FAS contract in the Assessments Division. This position requires a strong grasp of compensation and benefits principles and exceptional data analysis skills. There will be plenty of scope for exposure across the full reward remit, including benefits design, pensions, reward research, data analysis, annual salary reviews and job evaluation. This is planned as a fixed term contract role.

Salary Range:
Non London: £45k £50k
London: £50k - £55k

1.To act of point of contact for all things compensation and benefits related for the FAS integration project
2.Provide pay and benefit cost analysis and design comparisons of companies or contracts transferred into Maximus
3.Conduct market benchmarking analysis on pay and benefits using subscribed surveys, forums and internet research
4.Evaluate the cost impact of changes to base pay rates, incentive programes or benefit packages.
5.Assist during annual compensation and benefits processes including salary increase cycles, bonus plan administration and benefits open enrolment
6.Work closely with HR leaders in the Assessments Division to understand problems and develop solutions.
7.Perform other work as required related to the compensation and benefits function.

Qualifications & Experience
•Knowledge of the compensation and benefit field's concepts and principles gained through experience in a corporate HR environment.
•Advanced numeracy, analytical and Excel skills (ability to use V-lookup, Index and Match commands and work with large volume of data from multiple sources and to analyse & interpret data and draw conclusions)
•Previous experience of TUPE transactions with respect to handling of health and risk benefits design.
•Previous experience with job evaluation principles, salary surveys and job benchmarking.
•Previous experience with a flexible benefits platform and a strong understanding of the renewal process
Desirable
•Previous experience and/or knowledge of pensions schemes (DB, DC, Civil Service, Local Government, NHS)
•Knowledge of payroll concepts and activities, employment tax and salary sacrifice legislation.
•Up to date knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations relating to UK benefit and pay practices.
