At Universal Health Services, we are dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive mental health and behavioral health services to our community. We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Tech for our Tech - MH/BH position.

  1. Provide compassionate and comprehensive mental health and behavioral health services to patients in the community.
  2. Assist in the assessment and evaluation of patients' mental health and behavioral needs.
  3. Implement treatment plans and interventions as directed by licensed clinical staff.
  4. Monitor patients' progress and report any concerns or changes to the treatment team.
  5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  6. Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to ensure coordinated and effective care.
  7. Support and promote a positive and therapeutic environment for patients.
  8. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
  9. Attend trainings and meetings to stay updated on best practices and new developments in the mental health field.
  10. Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals.
  11. Demonstrate a strong understanding of mental health and behavioral health disorders and their treatment.
  12. Remain calm and professional in high-stress situations.
  13. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations of Universal Health Services.
  14. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  15. Continuously strive to improve the quality of care provided to patients.

 

Job Qualifications

Knowledge Of Mental Health And Behavioral Health Treatment: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Principles And Practices Of Mental Health And Behavioral Health Treatment, Including Knowledge Of Common Diagnoses, Treatment Modalities, And Evidence-Based Interventions.

Experience In Crisis Intervention: This Role May Require Responding To Crises And Managing Potentially Volatile Situations. Candidates Should Have Experience And Training In Crisis Intervention Techniques, Such As De-Escalation And Safety Planning.

Familiarity With Electronic Health Records (Ehr): Universal Health Services Utilizes Electronic Health Records To Maintain Patient Records And Track Treatment Progress. Candidates Should Have A Basic Understanding Of Ehr Systems And Be Comfortable Using Technology To Document And Track Patient Information.

Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Member Of The Treatment Team, This Role Will Require Working Closely With Other Mental Health Professionals, As Well As Communicating With Patients And Their Families. Candidates Should Possess Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate And Build Rapport With Others.

Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: The Mental Health Field Can Be Fast-Paced And Demanding. Candidates Should Be Able To Work Well Under Pressure, Manage Competing Priorities, And Adapt To Changing Situations. Previous Experience In A Mental Health Or Healthcare Setting Is Preferred.
